Better late than never......Holiday spirit from the home office.

Our team in Lowell had a Chirstmas decorating contest.  The winners received a catered lunch from the local restaurant of their choice.  As you can see from the pictures below, our DCS offices were full of the holiday spirit.

Final Mile West Delivers Summit Level Service!


Recently our Hayward team delivered a Tempur-Pedic mattress to Alison Levine, a home delivery customer in the San Francisco market.  The team, Marcos Avalos and Miguel Galicia, performed exactly as we would hope all of our teams would, delivering world class service to our customer.  This customer happened to be the Key Note speaker at the recent J.B. Hunt Summit meeting that was held in Lowell.   

As it turned out Ms. Levine had recently purchased a Tempurpedic mattress and as she left the summit got an email that her delivery was ready to schedule. She called and scheduled with the CSC for delivery to her San Francisco home. Upon completion of the delivery, Ms. Levine sent us the below email…

“The delivery went great -- the guys were awesome. I tried to tip them and they refused the cash and said they were not allowed to take tips. Usually people say, "we're not allowed to take tips, so don't tell anyone" -- and they take the money. But these guys refused the money (I mean, no one would have known -- but they still refused it). Gotta appreciate the integrity there!!! …Love JB Hunt!!!”

Every day our delivery teams have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for our customers.  We’re the last(and sometimes only) face that they see for their purchase.  We can make or break future sales for our partners through our actions.  Our goal every day should be to receive feedback like the note above. Our standard delivery should produce a VIP experience for our customers.

Commitment to safety on display in Hartford.

The Final Mile North team recently had all managers and drivers sign new safety commitment cards for 2015.  The Hartford LDC has went above and beyond framing the documents and putting them in a high visibility location for all to see.  Additionally, they've added a picture of each driver to their statement to add an even higher level of ownership.

More Tempur-Pedic Awards

Congratulations to the Final Mile Jackson, MS LDC for being named Tempur-Pedic Hub of the quarter for Q4 2014. During the quarter the Jackson LDC averaged 4.75 Aggregate Survey Score, 0 White Glove Issues, and a 4.62 Scope of Work Score. Being selected out of 84 hubs for TempurPedic is a HUGE accomplishment. Great Job to the Jackson Team! Each employee will be entered into a drawing to win a bed from TempurPedic.

Final Mile Delivery Services Strikes Again !

 
Congratulations to the Final Mile Chattanooga, TN for being named Tempur-Pedic Hub of the month for December 2014. During the month of December, Chattanooga averaged a 4.87 Aggregate Survey Score for December, 0 White Glove issues, and a perfect 5 Scope of Work Score. Great Job to the Chattanooga LDC team.
