Garden City GA LDC Named Tempur-Pedic Hub of the Month for October 2014

 

 

Congratulations to our Final Mile Garden City(Savannah), GA LDC for being named Tempur-Pedic hub of the month for October. During the month of October, Garden City had a 4.7 delivery survey aggregate score and a 4.75 Scope of Work survey score (gloves, booties, uniform, call ahead, removal of packaging). They also had 0 White Glove issues for the entire month of October.

Bonus info- Garden City followed up October with perfect 5.0 delivery/scheduling survey scores for November. Also with 0 WG Issues. Great Job!

Indianapolis LDC---5 Years Injury Free

Our Indy team achieved another milestone on 12/18/14.  This group of 9 DIS's has went 1825 days(5 years) injury free.  This team is challenged daily, operating in an environment that is composed of heavy builder volumes.  The safety culture has to be owned not only by the management team, but also by the driving group in order to reach this type of mark.  Our Indy team exemplifies the "Safety First" mentality in all phases of their day to day work, taking great pride in being the best of the best.

While 5 years is a huge accomplishment, the team has no inclination to stop here.  They're already looking forward to hanging their 6 year banner next December.

Solon OH LDC--Tempur-Pedic Hub of the Month--NOVEMBER

Our Cleveland(SOLON), OH location has been acknowledged as the Hub of the Month for the 2nd time this year by Tempur-Pedic.  The Cleveland team is under new leadership, and the DIS team has really stepped up to the challenge.

Sidney Williams--November 2014 Final Mile Driver of the Month

I am pleased to announce that Sidney Williams has earned the honor of the Final Mile Services Region Driver of the Month for November. Please join me in celebration and appreciation of Sidney's accomplishments!

Sidney began his career with JB Hunt in November of 2012, coming from Fed Ex where he worked for 28 years and worked his way up to manager.  Sidney is one of those drivers that always does what it takes to get the job done the right way the first time and he always communicates well with the office. He is also one of those guys that will do anything you ask of him, and is willing to do whatever is needed to help the account in any way he can. Sidney always has a positive attitude and is one of those guys that can have a conversation with anybody and builds rapport with the customers on each delivery and is shown in his high customer survey scores. He has become one of our best installers and tends to be the driver that we send to the jobsites with his November average efficiency of 128 and consistently being one of the most efficient installers on the account. For this reason and many more, Sidney is our account’s trainer as well, where he takes on the role to bring our new hires up to speed and takes them under his wing to learn our dynamic business. Sidney puts safety first every day and it is proven in his safety record where he is accident and injury free in his entire tenure with J.B. Hunt.  Sidney is observed every morning doing his thorough pre-trip inspections and following proper mechanics in every activity that is accomplished.  Sidney also keeps accurate logs each and every day where he has zero percent missing logs, zero 30-minute rest violations and zero HOS violations in November.

 In his spare time, Sidney likes spending time with his wife and his daughter who lives in Nashville and is a doctor.  Sidney and his wife, Fanny, are also raising his niece and nephew, both of which are in high school. He is a big Memphis Grizzlies fan and attends the games when he can.

Safety Milestone in Memphis TN

Great Accomplishment for the Memphis LDC Team!

Congratulations to our Memphis LDC team for going 1 year accident free on 12/9/2014. This is truly a great accomplishment that could only be satisfied by the highest caliber employees. A driver who commits himself each and every day to not only be the safest driver but also perform quality installs without getting hurt is so valuable. This is a team effort and includes our driving fleet, installation specialist, and office personnel. We thank you all for the dedication that is put into making this account one of the safest LDC’s in the country every day. I would like to send a special thanks to the driving fleet which includes Timothy Dawkins, Zachery Dixon, Joseph Odom, Albert Strangefield, Brian Taylor, and Sidney Williams for being on the road every day and making safety their #1 priority. It takes a special group to achieve these milestones and only reminds us all that with teamwork all goals are attainable. We look forward to another year accident and injury free. Great work guys!
